Broward's first nature center — elevated boardwalks wind through a mystical pond apple canopy.

Broward County's very first nature center, preserving 57 acres of critical wetland and mangrove ecosystems along the New River. It features the New River Boardwalk that winds through a mystical pond apple and cypress swamp, the rugged Laurel Oak Trail, a 3,800-square-foot walk-through butterfly garden, and a hands-on interpretive nature center.
